I read an article by a Indo based lawyer on the clean and clear issues, I think from last year or early this year. The issues are considerable with such things as overlapping leases, doubled up leases, clear conflict of interest issues etc. From what we know, there are no known issues with conflicting leases as supported by the local regency who are responsible for issuing leases. However, when there is a big prize such as Derewo where there is big money to be made, the stronger your partner is the better. It sounds like we may have the right type of partner now. Fingers crossed as always with this one.
