"They" i.e. Camperdown Dairy make butter, 0r is it produced under contract for Organic Dairy Farmers. I buy it Label says "Churned in Camperdown". At the AGM a question was asked about butter, and the current price hike. Apparently butter manufacturing requires trade-offs, as much of the milk is not needed i.e. essentially wasted - feel free to clarify/correct.

I get the feeling these kinds of short-term opportunities might be short-lived. Not so long ago (hmm, but that might be 10+ years ) butter mountains in Europe. Really requires someone who knows the ins-and-outs of dairy production to inform. I'm pretty sure the bigger producers have more flexibility to change product mix.
