The results of the AGM highlighted a number of things. Firstly, the one and only major shareholder still supports the board. Now if you wanted to take over a company as cheap as possible then things are just going along swimmingly, thank you very much. Or, maybe he is happy with the sp perfomance, he's up 20% in 18mnths, who knows what he thinks a good return is? Without his support it would be a very close thing as was the case last year. Secondly it just goes to show how weak the share register is with no interest whatsoever. Mostly made up of traders and small holders who don't give a toss. I would of prefered that Phil got 1 billion votes to the FOR for his freebies than mostly just one holder voting for him. That would of told me that there was others out there, big holders with confidence in this company. As it was there was over 1.5 billion votes floating around that couldn't be bothered. Sad. Maybe we dropped yesterday because shareholders were diluted by another 1% as of yesterday. All IMO only.
