You have no idea mate. Are you talking about the Victorian "land to offshore" well that Origin drilled in 2014? That well used Ensign's rig 30, the only 2000HP rig in Australia, the next largest are all 1500HP, and would struggle to drill that type of extended reach well. The Parker rig that XOM had custom built for Sakhalin island land t offshore extended reach has a 3000HP drawworks good for up to about 35,000ft. Most non CSG land wells in Australia are in the 2000ft to 3500ft range. QGC (now Shell, of course) had some very nice tight sands gas prospects in QLD that they brought a brand new state of the art NOV IDEAL 1600HP rig to drill an extended evaluation programme about 3 years ago, but the programme did not eventuate due to the oil price crash. That looks about to restart in conjunction with Santos. I worked in the Middle East from 1989 to 1997, Texas from 1997 to 2004 and Asia Pacific from 2004 through to late 2016.

Fair enough.....the Speculant and Halladale wells are not large and the equipment used would easily reach the LKO prospects as I have discussed with LKO's management.
