The presence of ex Federal Communications Minister Richard Alston at the AGM yesterday was NOT coincidental, imo.

Re my point recently about the government not wanting a royal commission into the banks... perhaps there's a role at DUB for a "senior adviser" with strong government connections to massage a bill through the lower house..."To implement systems to support automated call recording, storage and retrieval of interactions between financial advisers and their clients including mobile, landline, SMS, email and face-to-face."

And it would sure as hell be a lot cheaper and much quicker than any banking enquiry.
