That famous currency shorter, George Soros, has been shooting his mouth off again and spooking the markets. All of the indices appear to have been sold down so it's not surprising that TXN and AUT have been hit. I think that the Eurozone is approaching the end game. That will be when the Eurozone electorates will give their leaders a mandate to fix the problem at any cost. The ECB has been pouring liquidity into Greek and Spanish banks and either Germany will have to be prepared to walk away from it or it will have to agree to fully empower the ECB as a central bank and agree to it being shielded from political interference.

It is possible that the turmoil could affect deals in the EFS but oil companies seem to plan longer term.
