I heard along the grapevine/banana sucker that AAMC is just a shell now and that the new machines were being built in China to be delivered to N Qld for commissioning before onshipping to Egypt. The current machine would be dismantled and shipped to Egypt in the meantime. Given the problems with building earlier machines in Adelaide it will be interesting to see what happens in China & how they are paid for.
So N Qld becomes a sort of commissioning/testing lab before pulling them apart and shipping to Egypt. It all sounds bizarre and fraught with problems. Who is writing the script for this comedy/tragedy?
