    There I was thinking that it more accurately represented a company being able to take an equity stake in a project without the need for overheads relating to a production team....How many O&G companies are you aware of that an operators of decent sized projects without a multi-million dollar per year team behind them? Until you have production cashflow it is clearly a prudent move to be a non-operator.
