In its investor presentation today, OMH extraordinary increase in revenue and profits were on full display. In 2017, the company's revenues were A$988.2-million, but in just the second half of 2017, revenues were A$725.1-million. OMH's gross profit for 2017 was A$209.2-million, of which A$160-million came in the second half of the year. And its attributive profit in all of 2017 was A$92.7-million of which A$106.3-million came in the second half.
In the second quarter of 2019, the company hopes its Bootu Creek 250,000 mtpy tailing retreatment plant will be operational as well as its 250,000 mtpy sinter plant at OM Sarawak. OHM also plans to eventually expand manganese alloy production at Sarawk and add a silicon metal smelter there. Under development is its Lasah/Lawin quartzite operation.
