You do realise that what you are espousing is totalitarianism? Australia is a liberal capitalist democracy and we are all the better for it. Surrendering that to pursue the course of action you are espousing would have un-guessed at ramifications well into the future beyond government interference in AGL and it's legally compliant business operations.
In the words of Benjamin Franklin "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
