Conceptual ounces, are a way of communicating the expected size of the target using information they have to hand. Could b drilling, mapped geology, geochem geophysics or combination of the lot. No real standards in defining this, except those that are established by the performance of the management in that geological/regolith terrain.
AMX may well think with the amount of potentially heap leachable ore, that they could get gold production going via a heap leach. Low Capex, low Opex, ... perhaps built for times like these. Use the free cash flow to fund the higher capex plant and mine build.
