re: Ann: AEL's Increased 42 cent offer fo... While not anticipating this scenario you have to admit that AWE have made a good deal for themselves.

As a long term holder I have turned a modest profit but given the years of holding and the opportunity cost it has overall been a dreadful investment and this despite what in the end looks a very good asset.

The whole episode reinforces that the stockmarket is a ruthless place and small holders will always be at a disadvantage.

Im not wasting one nanosecond more of thought on this rout. Time to move on.
