I would think that the relative volume of electrolyte is reduced, however the concentration would rise to compensate. The limiting factor for the technology is the number of V atoms available to donate or accept electrons in the cycle so the smaller the tank the greater the concentration of V required.
Decreasing the size of each unit increases the number of potential applications for V Flow batteries. What appears on the surface to be a hohum announcement is actually a great leap forward in potential earnings for $POW.
BTW......I am waiting for re-entry after selling on the last high.
