Its just diluting an intercept over a longer interval. I assume you're referring to BGL. If you look at the intervals they announced there is small high grade hits inside smaller grade.

I think one of the hits was 3m at 86g/t. i.e 258g over 3m. But there was 445g/t over 0.5m, i.e 222.5g. So 35g over the other 2.5m or about 14g/t. That doesn't sound as good as 86g/t over 3m though.

I can't remember the others. 14g/t is still good but you see goldies in particular do it where they might hit 10-15g/t over a metre or 2 and then 1g/t over the rest of the interval but announce it as 5g/t over say 10m.
