Wow Joe that seems to be most likely. As you mentioned, there was a change of hands for quite a hefty amount of shares yesterday on the 17th.

It would also make sense why there's an ongoing trading halt now to prevent further changes to the share register. Then again, since settlement is T+2, doesn't that mean it would require till 19th at least for the new names to appear on the share registry?

Also, if this was the case, I wonder why they weren't aware in the first place, that share registry issues could occur with the way they set up the record date for voters cutoff on the 16th?
