My guess is that the PHES operator's position will be secured in some form other than direct ownership of land. 

When i spoke with Peter in November he indicated that if the PHES went ahead and the under pit resources and Nugent resources  were quarantined it made sense to mine the other considerable Kanmantoo resources that are close to the pit and the Processing Plant. He was already thinking that with the PHES disruption drilling Kanappa was out of sync which may have been a driver for them pulling the plug after three holes.

It looks like we might not be loosing Nugent which would be great for continuity.

From the KCCC meeting notes we learnt.

There is an active investigation immediately around the mine site, and land owners may receive a visit or letter from Tamara Brown regarding access to land to continue studies (no drilling planned).

 Then this line form the report indicates a drilling plan is hatching out.
 – further exploration at the Stella and North-West Kanmantoo projects will be undertaken in the March 2019 quarter.


I imagine in the final arrangements both parties will share the site access, the haul road, water supply infrastructure, power reticulation etc. as the Plant continues to operate, processing the greater Kanmantoo resources.

They are playing the quantum of the PHES bids close to their chests. Lets hope its not peanuts like the cash balance at the 30th December.
