The Lone Pine project, E70/2370, was located in the State Forest, southeast of the town of Bridgetown. The area was almost entirely laterite covered but was interpreted to be he underlain by an Archaean paragneiss suite that was considered prospective for Broken Hill type massive sulfide deposits, for gold in shear zones, and for tin and tantalum in pegmatite-hosted deposits of Greenbushes type. Exploration in 2001 to 2003 was restricted to a re view and assessment of previous data particularly sample data. This data outlined several weak spotty Pb, Nb and Ta anomalies. The tenement was farmed out and no further work was done. The tenement was surrendered. Prospects: Lone Pine Assays:

The area is almost entirely laterite covered and the underlying Archaean metasedimentary suite
is prospective for Broken Hill type massive sulfide deposits, for gold in shear zones, and for tin
and tantalum in pegmatite-hosted deposits of Greenbushes type.

A review of past exploration available within the WAMEX system was completed.
Pancontinental Mining Ltd in 1986 to 1996, (WAMEX Item 8536), collected a number of
laterite samples at variable spacing and these were analysed for multiple elements generating a
number of weak spotty Pb, Nb and Ta anomalies. The attached figure shows location of the
weak Ta anomalism.

Chiefly because of the collapse of the tantalum market price, the tenement was surrendered on
13 May 2003.
