Yeah - it looks difficult on that basis to back up my claim re the plumber's earnings. On reflection, I always call a real plumber in Oz, but when I was in the US it was never my concern. The few tradies I saw in the US seemed pretty hard up looking at their workboots and utes, and were probably not registered plumbers. Maybe a lot of Aussies call handymen as well for many plumbing jobs and I am out of touch with reality. (in fact might call a handyman next time myself, see how that goes - lol).
Had a mate from Austin, but never went to visit there. heard it was a great spot for Uni, Armadillos and Tex-Mex, and cheap child care with a free education in Spanish language thrown in. So $600k might be good value.
