It would have to be cheap for me to buy a Ohm for my home. As for the smart lights, MAUMBO is correct that most of the saving in the home is from switching to LED, but it is easy to dim smart bulbs and to turn them off when you are in another room, so it is convenient and that should result in some small additional savings. It my opinion smart bulbs and even LED are not worth putting in rooms where the lights are rarely used (ie laundry). Since August 2017, I have had Philips Hue smart bulbs and I control them with a Google Home and I think they are great.
As for businesses, other companies like Vivid Technology claim to be able to save business money with their technology, so it must be possible to save a bit more other than just changing to LED.
