I get that these guys go all out there on this strategy with the lights. I like them, think they are quite good. there is no hub either. also, with the old style globes it never mattered who they were from but here it does make a difference as to how you use them, it's better to be tied to one provider.
can also use with IFTTT etc.
note to everyone, I still don't believe anything that DM has to dribble
