MStein The only person who is confused about my comments is you because you cant crystallise the situation that exists.
1. VRX have a good business model but that in no way means they can ignore the continuing availability of silica sand from Vietnam at raw FOB prices of USD$ 20 tonne. When that changes it might be a different story
2. VRX are faced with an increasing number of significant players in the Australian silica sand market - that is something you cant deny and VRX don't have a mortgage over the silica sand market. It is going to be very competitive and that will translate to profitability.
3. VRX are promoting the crisis in construction sand in their presentations and on their web site. VRX are not focussing on construction sand so I sincerely suggest the company removes all references to the crisis in construction which has no bearing on VRX objectives.
4. I am recommending VRX add construction sand to their portfolio to increase its market penetration -that is only a suggestion and entirely up to the company. VRX are already alluding to construction sand in some of their marketing so if anyone is 'confusing' everyone it is VRX and your inability to recognise that fact.
