Maybe you are right. Time will tell. If DFM was an Australian company in the normal way, then I am sure it would have a much higher PE right now. Something that I have not seen an answer to, is why the DFM price crashed in the first place? I think it may be because of the factors that have also led me to jettison it. Certainly the EPS has not been the reason.
Bio Health is a small private company that now has a major public shareholder. Not easy to find corporate info on it. Perhaps DFM oversight will make more of it than it is now.
I doubt if Bio Health will market cooking oil and I would think its potential as a health supplement is limited. Olive oil has been marketed in a similar manner to the claims in your extract above for decades, especially by the Europeans who have/had a lake of it. As a cooking oil, it obtains premium pricing and perhaps camellia oil will too. However, I am not aware of any health supplement company selling capsules of olive oil as a health supplement. Of course, some companies market olive leaf (benefits escape me without research) and camellia leaf has many claimed benefits too (especially by the Chinese). Problem is, it is known as "tea" and can be purchased readily at your supermarket at commodity prices. Grape seed oil is used as the base in some capsules but only to carry the active ingredient and not as a treatment in its own right. Fish oil of various types is a long standing oil sold for health reasons with recognised benefits but will never be used as cooking oil for reasons of smell and cost to produce.
No doubt DFM/Bio Health will market tea oil as something special, appealing to its exotic nature in Western markets. Probably won't call it that though because it sounds too much like tea tree oil which people in this part of the world are familiar with for different applications. However, I cannot see much volume of camellia oil being sold this way
Oh well, time will tell as usual. I wish you all the best with DFM. I have decided to use my money elsewhere and so I will not regret it if DFM comes to life and achieves a respectable PE going forward. I have waited 2 years and that is enough for me.
