ROL is now buying this project and we are not told what they will/can do different that will allow the mine to happen. In the absence of an articulated strategy it is difficult to see how they will succeed where Kentor failed.
The other concern for us is to wonder what does that signify to ROL's Romang project that they are traipsing over to Kirgiz on a risky project. If the latter is so hugely attractive (notwithstanding the sad history of dashed hope) does it mean Romang is not by itself a great opportunity? You would think a company like ROL should focus and quickly bring into production from the Romang Island project and not get distracted by other risky investments.
