This stock is highly leveraged to the economic recovery story, its a high beta play. If the market contiues to fall then so will VBA at a faster rate. However, its encouraging to see the sell off is on low volumes. This stock is still up 200% since its lows in March. I'm still comfortable with the story.
*The AUD is well supported considering the recent weak economic data and VIX. All other factors suggest the AUD will appreciate by christmas and hit 95 cents. *The revenue load factors (domestic + international)continue to hold up at 79.1% (a number of brokers have assumed lower RLF in their models for FY10). *Virgin and Delta joint venture has been given ACCC approval. A number of brokers see the success of V Australia as a catalysts for re-rating. *I'm expecting some good news out of the AGM and hopefully some positive guideance.
I can understand if you're renting VBA and you didn't sell out at 57c why you'd be unhappy. I'm in for at least 12 months and expecting VBA to go much higher. The story is still solid.
