Risky job so the offer must be big enough and the either party could pull out with 6 months notice. This new CEO will have a whole array of issues to deal with and it will be difficult to get things completed. I imagine that the new CEO will need time to get a hold of things. As he starts 3 months from now, I don't think he will get control of most things until end of the year or early next year. Will see if the market gives a positive reaction to this news at all.
