I read the original verdict the other week online and the guy who launched this action is an ex employee who subsequently went bankrupt. The suit when I read it came across like a bitter ex now bankrupt employee who has an axe to grind on ABV for losses consequential to his own personal arrangements and promises with private potential investors at the time. They even tried to prevent ABV and Ken from submitting the companies accounts and general ledger in to evidence so ABV couldn't lodge a defense to show there was no loan recorded. Luckily the judge knew better and wanted all the information.
It is an interesting read.
