Not real impressed. This company still has a lot of hard work to do and these transitions all take time and absorb managements time when they should be out selling not in the office.
New managers always clean off the books so it looks bad for prior inventory but makes them look good going forward as they start from a clean slate. One minute we are bulk manufacturing due to economy of scale of doing a decent size run and now we are ???
Will do yet more research into who they are dealing with.
The 6 wheel dollys are normally used in road trains and offroad on some mine sites where they use the side dumpers. the dolly set up spreads the load over more wheels and allows higher load to be carried but comes with more trailer maintenance due to more axels . Dollys also allow for simple connection and disconnection of road train trailers from rigs They allow for better maneuverability. There is definitely a productivity gain to be made on site and on road to not have the corrosion issues in wet season layovers and also in dry areas where dust contamination with iron ore dusts tears normal unsealed brakes to pieces. Just how mush saving will depend on pricing as although you get extended service you also have training of staff .
Other place for dollys are the wide or extra long load haulers , forrestry and west of the Newell in NSW country fuel tankers as rules in States are upgraded as they are proving better for roads and stability if set up right. . .
My guess is a contractor on the mines but honestly it would have to be someone who is interested in prime movers and trailers set up the same to get max efficiency and savings with simple schedules for checks.
Change in strategy will be interesting but doesn't solve the issue of sales and I also noted the garbage truck market not mentioned again. It is a few large operators in every state and some national companies so like mines it will come in lumps or not at all.
happy just to have some news and know they are still alive for the meantime. Still a watcher not a buyer as unless they strike a major supply agreement and tell us I think they will be needing more cash and the share price will reflect that let alone build sufficient inventory for spares etc. .Need to see this new direction paying off before I invest.
