Indian budget speech starts at 3.30pm Eastern time today. If they reduce the import duty on gold or remove the 80:20 re-export rule, that should provide some impetus to get physical gold demand and hopefully price heading up a bit.
From many MSM articles, gold buying has been very weak in India in recent times largely due to an anticipation of lower prices following budget announcement.
