Hey Ash,grumpy took his TU back when i read both posts regarding market sensitive announcement.I have made a big deal out of it,but i still don't understand.Ok tls has changed its accountancy practices,if i'm correct the announcement refers to fy18 financials only,clearly so 1h 19 figures can be clear when released.
But whats market sensitive about announcement until fy18 figures can be compared to 1h 19? under new stds when we don't know the 1h 19 figures, tls always releases transcript of report before market opens so they could have stuck their market sensitive fy18 figures in same transcript so comparison could be made.
imo there is nothing market sensitive about announcement,it would help in giving those that feed in the figures like insto's for fy18 so they can compare to the 1h 19 figures when the insto's feed those figures into 'their micro soft office 'programs.
ps but do appreciate both replies.
