Livingstone would probably have been great if it was owned by somebody else, and located in Indonesia or elsewhere.
Can the board be replaced with effective people who know the art of finding reasons to do nothing, except have a nice (beef) lunch? Let the cattle do most of the work, they don't mind eating and reproducing!
