Wellards and Elders couldnt make any money out of live trade. Elders sold out and Wellards is owned by who knows these days after several owners.
A) They should offload Livingstone Beef to a Superfund and use the money to reduce debt. This will also allow them to sell sufficient boxed beef of the lower waygu for emerging markets. The Superfund can multiply similar type customers as AAC till full production. AAC couldnt source product.
B) Crank up the waygu style but introduce it across different cattle better suited to their locations. They have some prime finishing hectares in Qld.
C) Look at offloading to a Superfund its poorer pastural hectares, leasing back the improved pasture, as the Superfund rebuilds the properties.
Are AAC a reflection of Aust Agriculture or just a play thing for Joe Lewis?
