Once you see the upward trend in place you could add to your holding.Personally,I stick with the 10% rule.That is I don't invest more than 10% of my capital in any one company.I might not have the spectacular gains ,by going "balls deep" as you say but I never lose "my balls"and more importantly I can always sleep well at night.IMHO
