My guess, they stated they were unprepared for the laterite being so tough to get through, so.. they simply did not have the equipment on hand (although I have to wonder if they could have sourced such vehicles to do just what is shown in the video).
As NRW are fairly new I am hopeful that they are going to be pushing hard to do well in all their projects, especially ones like GCY which has the potential to become a decade long contract or more with either mine life extensions, of the development of Glenburgh.
