Okay, thanks, now I understand. I haven't been reading that other thread because it seemed like too much naval-gazing.
Until late last week I held shares in both 4DS and WBT. Over time my confidence has shifted a little bit more towards WBT overall. I'd still like a foot in both camps, but I sold all my 4DS after it rocketed up for no good reason I could see. I took some profit and put the money in WBT for the moment. I feel like I've watched a lot of pumping and dumping going on over in 4DS, and it will probably retrace back to par (market cap, not SP), unless there's insider trading. From holding both, I feel like a lot of traders shuffle between the two, so WBT seems to stagnate when 4DS is up.
There was also some misinformation being put out on twitter - about when Weebit announced its megabyte array - that Crossbar had already achieved a working terabyte chip. This seemed to have come from some misreporting by PC Magazine several years ago of a statement by Crossbar about what would be possible in the future with ReRam. I suspect a lot of investors understand the potential of these technologies but aren't themselves tech-savvy enough to realise what is utter nonsense - so misinformation like that can easily influence the market negatively. Today's SP is almost meaningless until there's more news.
