Grants for energy assessments



Grants are available to businesses spending more than $20,000 a year on energy bills.

With dairy farms being power-intensive businesses, the energy assessment grants are seen as a great way for farmers to cut their utility bills.

DAIRYFARMERS wanting to save thousands of dollars in a tight season are encouraged to access Sustainability Victoria's Boosting Productivity energy assessment grants.
The application process has been simplified to help the assessment journey flow more smoothly, with a new two-page registration form all that's needed to kick-start the process.
With dairy farms being power-intensive businesses, the energy assessment grants are seen as a great way for farmers to cut their utility bills.
A $2000 or $6000 grant (covering 50 per cent of the cost of an energy assessment) is available to help businesses carry out an energy assessment, and identify and put in place energy improvements, plus a $3000 implementation bonus.
