Perhaps there are but the largest is run by these two families in NSW, not far from Sydney. Unpalatable? not really but it might be some it appears. Maybe they want to get unhappy about milking the cows 3 times a day or counter-season breeding for flat milk or where rennet comes from or or...
I have less issues with intensive dairy farming than some here however there is a balance between production optimisation and animal welfare (including health and hygiene). I don't like seeing dairy cows roasted unnecessarily in the aussie sun nor freezing to the point of detriment in the colder periods and prefer housing them but then not a fan of the other extreme of caged cows. It is all in the balance.
Not all posters or commentators in the dairy sector live in armchairs armed with just a keyboard.
