You just don't get it.

I, and I suspect all posters on this forum - indeed probably everybody everywhere - knows that you need lithium to make lithium batteries. Scouts's honour, I do.

The question is whether EUR is going to be able to supply those needs without the EU's financial support, which so far it has not got. You have to understand that the EU's support for battery manufacture is not the same as the EU's support for the EUR's Carinthian mining operation.

Similarly the European stomach does not need Austria's Salzburg Weissbrauerei Hell Die Weisse to perform the flatulent function you so elegantly describe. Australia's VB lager works better - as does Chile's Cerveza Cristal and Argentina's Schneider. Funny that. Those countries also produce the most lithium.

Of course the EU may decide to support EUR. For shareholders' sake, let's hope it does. In the meantime please give us a break from the bleedin obvious - that lithium batteries need lithium.
