I have had another look and know a bit more, thanks to going back and checking some co-ordinates.
Here is Fig 1 from today's Ann.
I have circled DD2. I didn't spot it before. It's important to know where it is.
Although the narrative says that's it's 150ms north of DD1, the co-ords on page 8 put it 130ms north, but no matter. So, without any conductor from the DHEM of DD1 to lead the way, the geos, and I expect with a DD on hand because of the DHEM ('sorry fellas, but seeing that you are here, could you DD here please') chose 130ms north and 51ms west to put in DD2, same azimuth (60) and dip (-60) as DD1.
The ann says that DD2 was located and directed and angled so as 'to test the down-dip projection of both 9 metres @1.3% cu and the significant gold intercept of 64 metres @ 1.35 g/t au'. What we were not told is what holes gave these readings. I wanted to know so I went back to the 16/1 ann.
The copper was found in AC13 and the gold in AC26.
AC13 (cu) is 152ms north of DD2 and 93 ms east of it. You can see the 9m @1.3% cu on the above Fig 1
AC26 (au) is 97 ms north of DD2 and 104 ms east of it. This puts it south east of AC13.
However, and unfortunately too, DD2 failed the test.
Here is another map to help fill in the picture. It's Fig 2 from the 24/4/17. Note the 2 conductors. I had missed that before, and I think that it was new information.
Now compare that with Fig 1 above from today. The northern conductor is not shown, but the southern one still is, except now shown as a "Plate".
So where is this/are they going?
DD1 is 130ms south and 59ms east of DD2.
DD2, same azimuth and dip as DD1, missed its mark, if it is even there that is.
The preliminary conclusion reached by HQ, subject to the assays etc from both DD1 and DD2, is that the good stuff is south. "........, it is believed that the VMS mineralisation at Wodger is plunging 50 degs to the south, with the down-plunge projection correlating at depth with the untested southern EM plate ....., some 250m to 400m to the south of ..DD1".
So, does Fig 3 from today now make sense? Hmm, for me, not quite. It looks good though!
This has been thirsty work. CU later!
