Can anyone explain why the only EPS figure quoted anywhere in...

Can anyone explain why the only EPS figure quoted anywhere in all three of  yesterday's results announcements from EHL is 0.47 cents per share. Whereas, based on the shares on issue as at 31 Dec 2018, and the statutory earnings per share, the EPS figure ought to be about 3.24 cps. (ie $10.466m / 323,212,432 = 3.24 cps) 

In respect to the figure of 0.47 cents, the half year report states as follows: 

"Please note that the earnings per share has been weighted to take into consideration the shareconsolidation in November 2018."

It appears that they have worked out the figure of 0.47 cents based on some weird  time average of the number of shares on issue before and after the 10 to 1 consolidation in Nov 2018. Their figure for the number of shares that they used must have been about 2.226 billion shares. 

Who cares? 
What matters is the 323.2m shares on issue now.

Even if they are obliged to report that weird figure for reasons that escape me, why wouldn't they put out the relevant figure based on the shares on issue at the end of the period as well? I searched all the announcements, and if it is there, I have not found it. The lack of that information in the face of the EPS figure that they have quoted almost looks like a deliberate misdirection, but I cannot imagine what the motivation would be.

What am I missing? Is this some sort of secret accountant's business or something?

Anyway, it looks like all that is now all a matter of relative imbuggerance.
Today, Mr Market has decided that he overreacted yesterday to EHL's plan to spend $90m on big boys toys that are in hot demand..
I am up on the EHL that I bought yesterday but have been let down by MMS's result.
