    Surprised ur still here Amorga,

Your musings on 'cost-effective' strategies to manage modest battery start-up miss the point entirely: disparity between initial fanfare surrounding 15Gwh, 60 acre building and today's reality. Current month to month leasing of 20,000 sq ft a remarkable drop from 2.5 million sq ft announced May '97. Recall those 60 acres sounded 'giga' around option expiry time. Reluctance to show actual premises leased a year on even when reassembly apparently taking place becoming more comical by the day.

"You said initial production of 1GWh as at mid-2020. Where did you get this from as from my research indicates this production is targeted in mid 2019, or less than 9 months from now?"

Ur the second holder to struggle with downscale to 1GWh of cell production by mid 2020.
Line capacity of 1GWh is an annual figure.

"When a building is being described by square feet (or even acres), I would imagine this is the total floor space of the building. That would mean that a 4 storey building would have 4 times the square footage of the area of land the building is actually taking up."

How convenient that u imagine that.
Acres are very specifically a unit of land area so a building of 60 acres covers that amount of ground. Have u been scouring the photo for a 15 acre 4 storey building? Good luck with that.
