Hi Slipshot,

i was at the AGM along with maybe 15 other shareholders and 5 or 6 guys in shiny suits and I disagree with your conclusions.

i am as skeptical as the next long suffering holder but I thought it was quite a satisfying meeting.

The Sengkang PSC extension is a big deal and was greeted with warm applause when announced as it allows EWC eventually  to at last do the deals recommence work at Sengkang LNG with confidence they can get a return on the investment.

The Phillipines National Importance Certificate was explained as being one of perhaps only a dozen such projects endorsed by the President and the significance of that endorsement is that the regulators have 30 days to reject the project after which time it must be deemed approved and then hopefully the finance with Phillipines backers can follow and away we go.

I have been at plenty of previous AGM’s where EWC announcements and promises have invariably  turned to custard soon afterwards but I always had the feeling they would anyway.

this year seemed a bit different with the project  time frames more realistic and I came away reasonably confident that 6 to 12 months should give us some pretty good project and sp upside.
