    There was a good discussion here a long time ago about global sanctions on Russian companies, where graphite is a banned material. We theorized that Magnis, being an Aussie company, is unable to sell graphite to Rosatom as they have energy interests in Crimea. It’s just a theory and was never confirmed however you’re right, the deal hasn’t been mentioned since.
