I don't like that 40c for every $1 received is spent on...

I don't like that 40c for every $1 received is spent on marketing? What are they doing? What are they spending that on?

It doesn't seem to be increasing revenue proportionately.

Have a look at Xero, Wisetech...how much do they spend on marketing? And what is their revenue growth..

I used to really like the Aconex story a year plus back but have completely cooled off due to:

1. I think management are taking the piss with the accounting and they are thinking about themselves first with the STI and LTI's with easy hurdles for getting stock compensation. You can't deny that. That leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

2. I don't think adopting project management software and uploading your whole workflow into the cloud is as easy and installing software such as accounting software and getting your whole business on that quickly. I think its a pain in the ass to get your complete workflow in the cloud, convince everyone to use it, staff, suppliers etc... Its not as easy and I think companies are not tranferring everything into Aconex.

So for that reason, and that its very expensive, I'm out ;-)
