It's not really a figure that I monitor, but I very much doubt that I achieve average investments return of 20%pa.
(I don't think any professional investor will be able to sustain that sort of result on a consistent basis. If you know of one, please let me know and I'll sub-contract the managing of my investments to him/her.)

I would certainly be ecstatic with a 20%pa compound investment returns, assuming I wasn't taking on too much risk to achieve them. Because 20%pa means I'll be doubling the value of my capital every four years and while that might indeed have happened on the rare occasion in the past when the planets have all aligned perfectly, I know for certain I won't be able to sustain that over the longer-term.
