Btw, that geezer never said that contrarianism was a form of investment. I don't want to be rude, but that is just plain dumb. The issue is that as a value investor, you are going to generally be more adept, if you have contrarian tendencies.
But that's plain obvious. The act of finding value, is essentially the act of looking where not as many are. That, by definition, is a contrarian activity.
