Take a CR.
If it is under subscribed and say half is left with the underwriter then this lack of VOLUME ,interest is a major concern as it shows investors aren't interested.
How many times does a CEO harp on about it being 3 or 6 times over subscribed? Always!
As the VOLUME of shares traded (taken up) is so significant as it validates the business model.
Sure a Company still gets it's money courtesy of the underwriter if it's undersubsribed , but in 99% cases thereafter SP craps out.
You ignoring volume is like a chef trying to prepare the perfect meal but ignores the vegetables!
I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
