Actually quite fascinating, a lot of the positives since the Crescent take over that you would have to attribute to Wankmuller. Mind you getting rid of poor operating divisions, pushing the debt to shareholders (via a watered down share price) and selling some cash producing assets to get the debt noose from around your neck don't really amount to strategic genius. I think @AgentSmith82 might well be right, this is still a massive work in progress. I really want to know what happens when the property sector slows in NSW and VIC? How are they moving to a major projects model and all along, why are they not outsourcing at least some of their operations. They were the clear take aways from the old Wankmuller plan, which I thought was ok. Where are we headed?
I bet Dick Wankmuller is laughing away into the sunset at this point, mind you he does own a good whack of shares still.
