I suspect with AACo trading at these highs we will need to be very patient to see the business create the cash earnings to reflect current market capitalisation. My concern is earnings are very largely dominated by non cash statutory earnings through revaluations. The risk is that the revaluations of assets does not translate through to an increase in cash earnings.
With EBITDA circa $14.8M on a $1bn balance sheet, this company is a long way off from getting an economic return on assets.
