Hi Timber in reference to micro encapsulation technology this is indeed unique to CLV as they have managed to 'invent' a process and procedure that discloses how oxygen sensitive oils are encapsulated in proteins that have undergone a Maillard reaction process with carbohydrates containing reducing sugar groups. In comparison Martek's (CLV Competitor) patent which was also mentioned at the AGM is about to expire which then leaves the algae source DHA encapsulation available to all.
However as you mention the exclusive global pre term patents for neurological, respiratory, DHA and NEC processes that are valid up to 2031 are the Super Bowl assets if the trials are indeed proven to be successful.
