Hi Pedgeman - I am also a long term holder of AVX patiently waiting for some results, hoping to still be around when we achieve them. I agree that the returns from the coal mine investment would need to be outstanding to fund the required tests so perhaps the Company needs to review its intention to go it alone and not partner with a big pharma. Just in relation to the coal investment I do recall reading that AVX would consider selling its investment once it was up and running and producing revenues. It would need to sell for considerably more than its book value to achieve the funding required.
